Anatomy of an Artist Exhibition- Part - 38

It’s a Whole New Year!
Having spent another three months learning patience and contemplating my work strategy on projects, I am back to take 2016 on as a full production year.
Injuries left me unable to physically work the projects but gave me the time to consider the business of art, website changes, and approaches to my artwork projects. I managed a few workshops as well. The many years behind me with involvement in the arts, is no excuse for not learning new strategies and managing the business.

Planning a Comeback
As the directions given me, stated, at six weeks after surgery, I can begin some light strength exercises. At this time I feel I have turned a few corners and able to add some actions to my regime because I do feel more like myself and much stronger. I still need to be cautious of my arms and not overdo, but am feeling more comfortable and sleeping better because of that.

The Way Back
With surgery for my cancer over and two weeks later, I am feeling more like myself and less than a patient. I am still healing and cannot push my energy or go far, but do feel like I can plan a little more. With 6 more weeks to fully heal, I have that time to pick up some light art work that does’t stretch my arm movements. Of course I can also do my computer art related work. I am doing very well and with support of my family, friends and the artistic community here, I did not feel alone facing this crisis. I am grateful to all.
